  • How do you make it so low in sugar? +
We don’t use nasty artificial sweeteners or stevia. When you use premium organic ingredients, you deliver more honest and bolder flavours, thus less reliance on the need to add sugar or any other nasties. Sugar occurs naturally within the organic juice concentrates we use. However, we also add some organic sugar, organic brown rice syrup and Monkfruit juice which has added health benefits. Monkfruit was used by Buddhist monks for thousands of years in their cooking, and to treat illnesses. On average we have 50% less sugar than regular syrups and soft drinks. The Kombucha live concentrates have almost zero sugar.

  • How is Soda Press Co Kombucha different from any other Kombucha? +
Our innovation may be hard to believe, but we promise it is a true Kombucha, traditionally brewed by hand in small batches over 45 days. By applying an innovative cold-fill, in-vessel passive pasteurisation process, in a concentrate form and bottled in our brown glass bottles, we are able to produce a true Kombucha with a long stable shelf life. What’s more, by removing almost all of the sugar we ensure further unwanted fermentation is paused. Our Kombucha contains consumption-activated cultures in the form of highly concentrated and stable `resting’ Bacillus coagulans spores, activated only once they reach the enzymes in your stomach. This feature helps reduce the attrition rate, which is important as many ready-to-drink kombuchas have lost a significant number of their cultures by the time you consume them. It’s also worth noting, we have on average around twice the number of probiotics per serve than traditional ready to drink kombuchas. We’ve developed these innovations to provide you with the convenience of a home kombucha, without any of the work or mess and to guarantee safety and consistency of the end product. We work with some of Australasia’s leading food scientists in organics and are proud to be breaking ground in providing new and interesting ways you can enjoy our multi-award winning Kombucha concentrates.
