Orange Basil Gin Smash

This Orange Basil Gin smash is a cocktail like no other. A flavourful balance between savoury and sweet, it's sure to tantalise your tastebuds.

INGREDIENTS

1 handful fresh green basil - roughly torn
30ml Soda Press Co Summer Orange Soda Mixer
30ml gin
SodaStream sparkling water
Ice
Basil leaves and fresh orange to garnish

METHOD

Thoroughly muddle the basil leaves with the gin in the bottom of a cocktail shaker, until the gin turns bright green.
Add the Soda Press Co Summer Orange Soda Mix and the fill the shaker 3/4 with ice.
Shake until chilled, then fine strain the liquid into a glass filled with ice.
Top with SodaStream Sparkling Water and garnish with basil leaves and fresh orange slices.
